Cards to Jedidiah
I'm not sure if you've noticed but on the side of my blog there is a button 'Praying for Jedidiah'. A few weeks ago I posted about a fellow Arkansas Mommy whose blog I started following. About a week or 2 after I started following her blog, her 3 year old son-Jedidiah, was diagnosed with cancer.
You can click on the banner to read about it. He will be starting his 1st round of chemo tomorrow(Wednesday). One thing the mom said is that he loves recieving cards in the mail to look at. She recently posted her address to mail the card to.

They also had lots of their shoes for 70% off. I got the shoes above for $30 after tax(mine were in brown.) These Born shoes were originally over $99.00! My husband has a pair of Born shoes that he loves so I was excited to get these for so cheap!
Of course, each Dillards probably clearance things differently but if you were near there I would for sure stop by!

Day 6 of No Dining Out March
Saturday was Day 6 of No Dining Out March. It was super hard not to go out to eat because we went shopping a few hours away. But we did it!
For breakfast we had cereal(pantry, free) instead of chicken biscuit for me($3.50), and the kids had the same. Usually they get sausage biscuits on weekends for breakfast.($1.50x2) And my husband usually eats cereal so he eats for free ;)
So my total savings for breakfast was$6.50!
Lunch was the problem. We went to the Promenade and they have soooo many restaurants around there. It was smelling so good and I was tempted BUT we didn't. Instead we brought lunch meat and had sandwich's at the park. It was a beautiful day so we enjoyed it! Normally on a Weekend lunch we would spend $30.
Total savings $30
Supper. We had quesadillas. Normally we would spend about $40 going out for supper on Saturday night. Love me some Fuji's!!!
Total savings $40
Total savings today- $76.50. Total savings for 6 day period- $161.92!!!!

$1 Zoo Admission at Little Rock Zoo
On Saturday March 13th, Little Rock Zoo will have $1 Admission for each person. I know last year it was free but it was also a mad house! We got there a little early so our wait wasn't long. $1 Admission isn't bad at all. I think it's normally $8 a person! This event is sponsored by Coleman Dairy!
The picture above is my 2 little ones at the Free Zoo Day last year!

1 can tomato sauce, divided,$0.88(I'm sure there are better deals)
1/4 cup uncooked instant rice , Minute rice has alot of $0.50 coupons. It doubles at Kroger's to get free rice

Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 45-60 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and peppers are tender. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; return to the oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
